She made us feel as if we were visitors in her home, rather than visiting a patient in the hospital.
Ashley took care of my father when he was hospitalized with Covid for a week. I felt as if he received quality medical care from all of the nurses, but Ashley went above and beyond to make sure that he was as comfortable as possible. My dad is almost 90 and is hearing impaired. Ashley treated him with such compassion and patience. When he was confused, she took the time to comfort him by writing on a whiteboard since he couldn’t hear her. She constantly adjusted his position in the bed/chair to make sure that he was as comfortable as possible. She would constantly check on him to make sure that he didn’t need something. She made us feel as if we were visitors in her home, rather than visiting a patient in the hospital. When I asked questions, she thoroughly explained what was happening with my dad’s care. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word. Her positive attitude really impacted my dad’s spirit. She is a wonderful nurse, and I feel blessed to have her take care of my dad.
