I truly appreciated Baylee’s help tonight on the floor. Call lights were going off non-stop and she was quick to get up and answer them. One thing that really stuck out was her patience in handling the patient in one particular room. She was crawling out of bed, screaming, and bothering the patients across the hall. Baylee stopped what she was doing to sit in the patient’s room and 1:1 with her as well as bathe and wash her hair, clip her nails, and sit in the room until she calmed down. In addition, many of my patients are hooked up to something through their IV. She was always the first one up to address the alarm. Around 3 a.m., EPIC went down. Instead of sitting and waiting, she checked all the rooms for trash and liners that needed to be taken out, sharps containers, and sanitizers to be replaced, overall, she was super helpful and it made the night run smoothly for everyone. She is also a full-time nurse, student, and mother. Thank you for your help!
