Brianne went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of during the scariest experience of my entire life.
Brianne was my nurse every time I unexpectedly ended up in L&D early on in my pregnancy. Then, she happened to be my nurse during my scheduled labor induction weeks later. She recognized me the moment I walked in the door and made it her personal mission to make sure I was very well taken care of and had a wonderful birthing experience. This was my first pregnancy and birth, and Brianne made sure I understood and was comfortable with absolutely everything that was happening.
From cervical checks to talking through my fears of birth and explaining every single step in detail. She communicated everything so well and educated me on things I was terrified of or simply didn't understand, like epidurals and the baby's positioning. Brianne went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of during the scariest experience of my entire life. She made sure my partner saw and understood everything and kept us all calm during some intense moments. I was in labor for about 40 hours, so I got to have both day and night shifts, and I was over the moon every time Brianne came back on shift and made sure I was okay and feeling comfortable with everything that happened while she was gone. I have never had a nurse go so far above and beyond to make sure I had the information I needed to make educational decisions about my health and well-being.
