From my first day with Chris, he demonstrated professionalism, skill, enthusiasm, and compassion. It was obvious that other nurses and aids looked up to him. Chris consistently conveyed confidence and high standards in every skilled task. He made sure that I felt safe and welcomed to ask for help. I noticed that he was friendly to co-workers in and out of this department. Several times Chris took time to explain medical issues pertinent to my illness.
During my stay, I had a very traumatic experience with respiratory distress during cardiac ablation. Truly the scariest thing in my life. Chris was so compassionate and eager to help me feel better. That night I had to go for a stat head CT and was terrified to lie flat. Chris came with me and made sure everyone knew of my anxiety, held my hand and got me out the second he could. Because of Chris' professionalism, I was confident to put my life in his hands.
Chris has that rare capability to present himself in a professional and personable manner. Friendly to visitors, supportive of co-workers, 100% dedicated to his patients.
