Cristen has been my nurse for a few of my epidural procedures and in the past my ablations. She works so well with the doctor, and it provides an instant feeling of being safe and cared for. As a nurse, sometimes knowing too much can make even a routine procedure more stressful. Cristen's attitude and cheerfulness have always helped to decrease my anxiety. She is always professional but very personable as well. She greets each patient with kindness and compassion, which is greatly appreciated. She has a great memory for "repeat patients," which is pretty common in pain management. I always feel better when I know she is going to be my nurse. She makes sure to communicate my needs in a professional manner and makes my procedures go as smoothly as possible. She deserves recognition for going above and beyond, not just with me but with all of her patients. She is also very good at communicating with all staff around her. Cristen exemplifies competency, compassion, trust, and expertise, just to name a few. She is also always smiling, and this can be seen even through her mask since it reaches her eyes as well. She is a great nurse and a great asset to her department.
