Edward consistently invested himself in my mom and other patients beyond great care to a level of what I would deem impeccable!
My mother was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive thyroid cancer, and within two days, we were admitted for an emergency tracheostomy to allow her to breathe. She was very scared and unable to communicate verbally. Edward was her nurse the very first night on P11 and worked to help get her comfortable with the trach. There was an incident where the trach became blocked, therefore preventing air flow. Edward was not her assigned nurse; however, he was near our room door when the emergency situation occurred. He immediately began life-saving procedures with such a calm demeanor. Edward consistently invested himself in my mom and other patients beyond great care to a level of what I would deem impeccable! My mom did not survive the cancer, yet I have such peace knowing she received the BEST care possible by human hands through Edward!
