Janie Wilde was honored with the DAISY Award today based on her commitment to excellence, patient advocacy and excellent assessment skills.
Janie calmly, skillfully and compassionately focused on caring for the patients who suffer so much in addition to their cancer diagnosis. She is the “calm in the eye of the storm” for our patients and families.
Janie consoles and calms patient’s relatives who are stressed beyond their ability to cope.
She is a team player, a great advisor to her colleagues and a wonderful provider to her patients.
Janie is a knowledgeable resource to our non –clinical staff when concerns about diagnosis or patient care issues arise.
Janie is devoted to her patients and families and works tirelessly to educate and advocate and on their behalf.
She may not realize the daily and collective impact she has on the health and well-being of our international patients and families, but those who work with her do.
