Meeting some people in your life has a strong, but memorable reaction. That has happened with me. In fact, it has caused me to let some bad memories go. Exactly what happened today. My nurse, Kim, needed to help me this morning addressing my wounds. I was extremely nervous due to the fact that I have had my feelings hurt because of them before. Sensing this, she stated that she thinks wounds are interesting and cool. I began to relax. Talking and laughing, I relaxed even more. Before I realized it, I was dressed, my wounds treated and then eating breakfast. Kindness, compassion, empathy and consideration are all things a nurse should possess. She supersedes in all of these areas. Please help me let her know how amazing she is. The words she spoke to me will forever be imprinted on my heart. THANK YOU!
