We were impressed with Meagan's professionalism when it came to what I perceived as chaos, with every hallway lined with patients. What a great attitude, but the best part was when I walked into the room of my wife and Meagan just happened to be her nurse that day. Meagan said it just worked out that way. Normally I am not one to ask a person a personal question until she brought up NJ, I did. Turns out her mom and my wife went to the same high school and all four of us were born at the same hospital in Newark. She mentioned November being her birth month, as is mine, 3 days before hers, but she and my daughter share the same date.
 
What I love about her is that she genuinely cares about her patients. I know this woman takes just as diligent care of all her patients, even if they may be difficult.  If you ask me, this experience, though we would rather never have to go through this, has been a good thing. If the tube collecting bile did not pull out of her, we would not have gone to the ER, and the PE they found today would have gone undetected. 

It is no wonder that your angel of a nurse met my angel of a wife. Thanks for keeping her alive.
