I was completely confused. My DME provider was not experienced. Without her extraordinary medical background and knowledge of GEHA procedures, I would not be in a position to be reimbursed for sorely needed PT/INR testing. ​

Not only did she understand my confusion, but she also offered to speak directly to the DME provider​.

She was always there for me. She was the one constant in the medical claims process whom I could turn to when customer care (always helpful but limited in that someone different was always on the other end of the line) was unable to fully work through the tangle of medical codes.​

She understood how important the PT/INR test strips were to me and my health. She stuck with me as I tried repeatedly to work with more than 5 medical equipment providers to develop a personal one-on-one relationship with a provider. It wasn't easy. ​

I, with her careful, compassionate guidance walked me through the process of ordering, using, and seeking reimbursement for the test strips. ***key point: I have worked with many personnel from GEHA and she is the most, compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional person.​
