Saffron is an amazing nurse - she is sensitive to difficult situations but is always able to offer good advice with a smile. She is able to care for a difficult caseload with a smile and receives a lot of feedback from patients about how helpful she has been and from family about how she is able to calm them in a stressful period of their lives. Saffron is an integral part of the team and helps other staff members every day not only with her warm smile and good jokes but also with the clinical supervision she is able to give to everyone who asks for it in a sensitive way. Our team would not be a supportive and friendly place to work without her.

Saffron is one of the deputies on the team, and I work closely with her in primary care liaising with referrals that are made to the team.

The work that she does in the team, with the referrals and her caseload is amazing. There is one particular patient we are working together on, and her support for the patient and communication with the rest of the MDT is imperative for the best patient care. She ensures that she always puts the patients first and does what is best for them and the team. Overall, it is an absolute pleasure to work with her, and I don't feel her work is recognised enough!
