Sharon was one of my labor nurses after 36 hours of labor! She was the last nurse before my son was born. She came on shift and immediately put me at ease. She set up the room even though we both knew it would be hours before I delivered. She said that she wouldn't let me have my baby on another nurse's shift. She talked me through my contractions and helped me gain focus when it came time to deliver. After 34 hours, my strength was completely wiped out. Yet she gave me strength to make it through my last 2 hours.

Through it all she kept on smiling and reminded me how glorious this moment was and for that I am grateful. My son was born with a high fever and spent 5 days in the NICU. She also took the time to come visit me and my son, which added a great personal touch to her already stellar bedside manner.
