Ainsley is an RN traveler who started on PNCU a few weeks ago. Our patient is a stroke patient who has multiple deficits, including aphasia. His communication is very limited and he's currently waiting on placement. Ainsley was not scheduled to work on Monday but came in to give a haircut and shave the patient. It was really heartwarming to see the interaction between Ainsley and the patient. Later in the day, the patient was at the nurse's station smiling so big, pointing to his hair, and rubbing his face to show the staff his fresh cut and shave.

Ainsley displayed integrity and compassion. While he is not a core staff member of HDH, he is currently representing our hospital. Integrity and compassion are key values we pride ourselves on here, and Ainsley demonstrated those values wonderfully. We are proud to have him represent our unit!
