J. Patrick Barnes
Funds research and evidence-based practice projects that impact the treatment of patients with auto-immune diseases or cancer (two conditions Patrick fought).

Medical Mission
The DAISY Foundation offers grants to DAISY Honorees who require funding for their expenses to volunteer on medical missions contributing to patient care for the world’s most under-served and vulnerable people.

Health Equity (SDoH)
This grant funds nursing research and evidence-based practice projects designed to address social determinants of health aimed at improving health outcomes.

Health Equity (Older Adult)
Generously funded by the Ann L. Hendrich Charitable Fund, this grant supports research and evidence-based practice projects to improve the care and healthy aging of the older adult.

Healing Hands Conference Grant
Any DAISY Honoree, regardless of when they received the Award, is eligible to apply. 20 DAISY Honorees will receive up to US$ 2,000 each to help cover the costs of attending a continuing education conference of their choice.

Karlene Kerfoot Nursing Leadership in Technology Education Grant
The Dr. Karlene Kerfoot Education Grant recognizes and supports nurse leaders who are passionate about leading innovation and technology in healthcare. Two Education Grant Reimbursements of up to US $5,000 each will be awarded to nurse leaders who demonstrate a strong background in successfully implementing technology or innovation strategies and who articulate a clear vision for the future impact of their work on patient care.
