When I was admitted to the hospital, I thought I was there to possibly get my gall bladder removed. I was wrong. I was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma in my liver. The moment I found out, Aleshea came into my room and the necklace she had on caught my eye the very first moment I met her and I commented on how much I loved it. It was a cross and a tag with a Christian saying and I knew she was just the nurse I wanted helping me.
Well, as I said before, she walked in and I was crying and she immediately took off her necklace and placed it around my neck. Aleshea hugged me and said she would pray for me.
Prior to this incident I was scheduled for an MRI and was having pain meds administered every 4 hours. While trying to have the MRI, I had to lie flat and the meds had worn off. I was in agony. The doctors put the MRI on hold and Aleshea came to me to administer my pain meds so I could continue with the procedure.
I know now just how much she cares!
She is an outstanding nurse and goes above and beyond the call of duty for her patients. I will always love her and be grateful for her.
