Alissa Merritt deserves this award because each day she works her patients report to me the following, "Allie is especially upbeat and attentive, she took care of my wife's needs as well." Another patient stated, " She loves what she does and shows it by how compassionately she treats her patients". These are only a few examples of the numerous comments I have received from patients stating how fortunate they feel to have had Allie as their nurse because of the true compassion she has shown them.

Allie doesn't just go above and beyond for her patients and their family but also for the staff. Her smile and upbeat personality combined with her willingness to help anyone at any time makes her truly invaluable. The patients feel Alissa makes them feel "special" and "safe".
