My daughter arrived at St. Joseph Hospital West by ambulance from her school having an asthma attack. I was so scared. The moment I got there, I was greeted by my daughter's nurse, Amanda, who was so sweet and polite. She immediately let me know what was going on and everything that was being done. She had taken care of my daughter until I arrived at the hospital.

My daughter let me know how nice Amanda was to her when she was so terrified about what was going on. This nurse calmed her down. I cannot thank her enough for all that she did for my daughter. My daughter was hungry, so she walked us down to the caf and bought my daughter her favorite food - pizza! That made my daughter's day. I can't say enough about the fast response and care my daughter received. My daughter really enjoyed being around Amanda and it put my mind and heart at ease knowing she was taken care of."
