She is hardworking and caring and creates a comfortable and welcoming learning environment for the nursing students and instructors as well.
I have had the pleasure of working with Amanda in my role as a clinical RN instructor on her unit, Pavilion E. All of my interactions with Amanda have been positive. She is an extremely effective leader of her tremendous team, and she is frequently present on the unit. She makes herself available to assist with patient care, staffing issues, student concerns, etc., and does so with a smile on her face. She is hardworking and caring and creates a comfortable and welcoming learning environment for the nursing students and instructors as well. She is very encouraging when she speaks with the staff and students, is always willing to listen to voiced concerns, and follows through with any needed interventions.
It is quite apparent that Amanda wholeheartedly cares for her unit, staff, and patients, as the environment she helps to create is always upbeat and positive. I consider myself lucky to work with such an outstanding leader and MMC is lucky to have her!
