I was fortunate enough to have Amanda as my nurse through most of my inpatient maternity care. My mother was a nurse and I grew up around so many great nurses, but Amanda was far and away, the best nurse I've ever known. I was having a rough time of things and she made me feel safe, comfortable and also provided enough support and kindness to ease all my anxiety. She really paid close attention to me as a person and quickly adapted to meet my needs according to who I am as a person, not just as another standard patient. I really don't believe my recovery could have gone nearly as well if it had not been for her.
