It's those things you do and say that give me that security. I never had to second guess anything you've told me about my baby's health.
Amanda, first let me say you've always put a smile on my face with those cool earrings you rock. I definitely feel the spirit with that one. You are very different, down to the way you explain baby L's health to me for me to realize that there will be a little rockiness with her recovery; but, she will be okay and she's doing marvelous. I truly feel I could be away for a bit and L will do the best with you right by her side.
I really appreciate how you took charge to speak your mind on my baby getting another blood transfusion over getting back on the blood pressure medicine. It's those things you do and say that give me that security. I never had to second guess anything you've told me about my baby's health.
After getting the chance to change baby L's diaper with you guiding me, I now realize what you meant by saying "it's the smallest things that happen in the NICU we worship as a milestone" & changing her diaper was one for me. I finally could breathe, smile and just be thankful for everything. So, thank you Amanda for who you are and for loving the little one!
