From the patient's family: Andi is truly something special. One of the parents is very inquisitive and at times will repeat her concerns. Although other doctors and nurses were attentive, Andi went above and beyond in terms of patience, understanding, comforting and helpfulness. She was able to address all of the parent's questions thoroughly and with sincere concern. Nobody has managed to make the family feel heard, understood, or at ease quite the way Andi has. She returned to the room many time to relay answers to our questions and to explain medical terminology and test results. Even in her busiest day Andi took the time to have casual conversations with us and to share humorous stories to help us feel at ease in these trying circumstances. For someone to reach out and take their time with us is indescribably appreciated and invaluable. Andi made all the difference in this challenging situation.
