All of the nurses, doctors, and patient care technicians have been great but there is one who person is stuck in my heart as being exemplary… Angela. 

She was so impressive, educated, and informed on everything concerning my past medical history and my present illness. She was patient. She got everything done that was important to my well-being. . . She was very understanding as well as willing to lend a listening ear. 

Despite her busy day, she took the time to do all of what I needed. She even assisted with tracking down the social worker and a place for me to go after discharge.

On this day, she made me feel like a Queen for a day. I’ve never felt this way before. I know that Angela went far beyond her usual duties to take care of my needs and I am so very appreciative of her loving care and help.

I was scheduled for a discharge tonight with nowhere to go. Angela got on the phone and got in touch with a social worker for me to speak with and they canceled my discharge. . . so I will have somewhere to lay my head tomorrow. This is such a relief as my breathing is not normal yet. 

I cried and said thank you Lord that you care so much…that much for me. I believe Angela deserves this DAISY Award and much more. She has all of what it takes to be an RN or anything else she wants to be and to serve in His Greatness. She has kindness, compassion, love, the works, faith, hope, and most of all humanly love for all. . .
