Angela embodies what it is to be a nurse – and then some. She is compassionate, empathetic, attentive, and caring, and not only takes care of the patient but the family as well. She displayed critical thinking and excellent communication skills. She advocated for our son when we felt our concerns were not being heard. We had so many different nurses during our week-long stay, but felt comfortable and at ease when our son was under Angela’s care. She was respectful, without being overbearing. She was always checking with us as parents to see if there was anything she could do for us, even when she had 3 patients to care for. She was in our room with our son more than any other care provider, never complaining about how busy she was. I could tell she genuinely cared about our son and that she loved her job. She has a positive attitude and is a great asset to your team on the unit. We are forever grateful for the care she provided our son. Thank you so much, Angela, for all that you do.
