Recently a patient came to the ED for care. There were many social issues with this patient including the fact that he had bugs all over him and was very dirty. Angelique cared for him and had to throw away the clothes. Along with another nurse, they gave him a bath. The extraordinary thing she did, going above and beyond, was to go to Family Dollar and bought this patient clothes to send him home in. She didn't have to do that. She used her own money and bought these items for the patient and never told anyone. The reason I know is I went to the ER and she was on her way out to get these items.
