I'm grateful for her taking the time to build that relationship with me because handing her to someone I didn't trust would have broken me more.
My daughter A passed away when we were 32 weeks pregnant. I was in a state of shock & trauma while in L&D; Angie made a horrific experience more bearable. She is a skilled nurse, a compassionate & kind person & went out of her way for us. I am grateful for her trauma-informed care. She listened to my concerns & answered my questions patiently & respectfully. When it was time to say goodbye to A, I felt safe handing her over to Angie because I trusted her with my daughter. I'm grateful for her taking the time to build that relationship with me because handing her to someone I didn't trust would have broken me more. The care she provided had a lasting impact on me & helped me start to grieve my daughter. She's an asset to the nursing profession & a blessing to the patients she serves. I can't thank her enough for the amazing care she gave us, & for making a difficult time in my life more bearable. She's a wonderful person, and we will always remember her.
