Annie has been my children's nurse for a few years. She is so sweet and kind. Not only is she amazing to my children but she is for me as well. After my daughter had an accident while at our follow up appointment Annie could maybe see the stress in my face and she understood the pain I felt. She talked to me and for the first time in a week made me feel like it was ok for me to feel my emotion. She gave me the strength to deal with them the way I needed to and she allowed me to feel better so that I could be the mom my kids needed me to be and not a stressful mess. She also checked on my daughter and her vitals and does it in a way to make my kids feel so comfortable.
Annie is always so sweet and kind that I think it fools my kids when it's shot time cause they don't think they are getting one from her. My sister, my family, and many friends always praise the care we receive from Annie. She handles the kids in a manner that allows them to be comfortable and not scared of the doctor while still doing her job and keeping them safe and healthy.
Annie always takes the time to check on my kids after they are sick, return my phone calls even if it's for the silliest thing, and get us an appointment when she knows we need it. She also fixes any paperwork that might need to be fixed or updated and gets it back immediately. She's always doing it with so much kindness that you never once feel judged by her or uncomfortable with talking to her about anything that might be going on.
I remember one day my daughter had a fever and I was a nervous mess. I walked into the health center looking for an appointment. Annie appeared and that in itself made my mind relax a bit. Without hesitation, at the reception desk, she asked what was wrong and helped find an appointment for my baby. Every time I call or anything goes on she is very attentive to my needs and always makes me feel like my children's health is a top priority to her as it always is to me.
Annie always provides excellent care to my children. There is not a time that she does not have a smile on her face or does not provide exceptional care to my children, nieces, or family. She's the type of person you want to see when your upset or stressed because her warm personality can truly provide you so much comfort and you know amazing care. I was so scared to get my kids vaccinated because of everything that I have read about them. I'll never forget the very first one of my children who received one. Even before she gave it she sat with me, answered my questions, and talked to me till I felt comfortable enough for her to give them. No matter how busy she was she took that time for me and I thank her for that. I thank her for everything. We are truly blessed to have found such an amazing healthcare team and she's a huge part of that.
