Anna Stubbs is a team player. She is excellent with the patients and staff. I am a new nurse. I am new to the hospital setting, working with physicians, and all associations with nursing. Anna goes above and beyond to help not just me but to the whole staff as well. The whole 12 hr shift, Anna asks if there is anything she can do to help. She is knowledgeable, competent, caring, and professional. Most importantly, Anna is a team player. Anna has helped me so much. I am so grateful for her. I would really love to show her my appreciation. Not just from me but from the whole staff. I tell her thank you, but would really love to recognize Anna. Everyday I work with her I know the day will flow better even if 3 South is busy. She is always positive and always has a smile on her face.
July 8, Sunday, on 3 South was a very busy day. I started off with 5 patients and room for an admit. I began the shift with my “skates on” (running). There was so much going on with my patients (sick). Anna stopped what she was doing and helped me. She got behind in her work, sticking her neck out for me. I had 2 IVs to blow, confused pts getting up, physicians calling, everything! Anna came to my rescue. Again, I am truly grateful and even blessed to work with and alongside of her. She smiles through it all. Her smile reminds me to stay positive. It says everything is OK. It says I’m here to help you. Anna is wonderful. We both were there til 9 p.m Sunday night working. I looked up and Anna was still at my side. I would like to recognize her and show her how great she is and how much she is appreciated. I am such an advocate for teamwork, professionalism, competency in skills, positive attitudes and Anna is all that and so much more.
