During the delivery, Annie was very encouraging and gave me the guidance I needed to safely deliver my baby.
Annie was AMAZING! She was so kind and caring, but also hilarious at the same time, which really helped to calm my nerves. Annie also has a very motherly presence to her, which I greatly appreciated given that my own mother couldn't be there because of COVID! I also enjoyed talking with her and hearing about her life and family - this brought me great comfort as I am a talker and talking helps distract me. While getting the epidural I threw up several times. Annie gracefully handled herself when she ran to a cart and spilled my puke all over herself - sorry Annie! During delivery, there was some difficulty with my baby coming out. I totally had no idea that anything was wrong - my husband said that Annie handled everything so swiftly and was prepared in case I needed to have a c-section. During the delivery, Annie was very encouraging and gave me the guidance I needed to safely deliver my baby. When our daughter was born, she took excellent care of her, while also helping me as well. Annie truly deserves every award in the world and I will forever be grateful that she was there when we showed up to welcome our daughter to the world!
