I was in for a second surgery as the first knee surgery had gone bad. At midnight I was hauled down stairs for a CT scan of my lungs. Back in the room at 12:20 am. Results were voiced at 12:25, acute pulmonary embolism. Anthony went into an even higher gear calling people to organize things, replacing a catheter pain block with other pain meds. Waking up folks to come help. That room came alive for the next 4 hours.
Anthony told me he prides himself on doing perfect needle sticks and placement and it shows. He is always pleasant, always smiling, always positive, with a fantastic personality. One can tell that Anthony loves his job and wants to do good. He made that night a master piece of excellent nursing and saved me from anything worse.
Providence has a real winner in Anthony Ong!
