April was a very caring nurse in so many ways. Not just to me, but she even went the extra mile to treat my boyfriend and family members as well. She always has a smile on her face when she enters the room. She always asks if you are okay and what she can do for you as well.
This stay has been very hard for me as I have felt pretty lousy. April goes the extra mile and makes sure all your questions are answered. She does the same for any of your family members. The care I received from her was excellent. She was on time with all my meds. She really has a lot of compassion for her patients.
I have had to be admitted to this hospital several times. Being in a hospital is always a scary thing to me anyway, but with April as your nurse, some of that seems to fly out of the way. She also told me how to be able to make sure my doctors understand my questions. I also noticed when she spoke with the PCA techs and other nurses as well she was very nice to them. I have to say in today's world it seems hard to find people who really show compassion anymore, but April sure does.
I also noticed with my door opened today she stayed well busy. She would also peek in and ask if I needed anything. Employees like April are the reason I keep coming to this hospital. I want to say thank you so very much April for making my stay here so much more pleasant.
