Ari was a huge help to the ER this week! We had a patient with a wound vacuum in place come to the ER with concerns about the wound vacuum itself and a complex skin graft the wound vacuum was treating. Ari came to the patient’s bedside, worked on this patient for almost 2 hours to make sure their wound was properly cleaned, re-dressed, and that the wound vac was in working order. The patient and his son were very anxious about the maintenance of the wound vac overall, and Ari spent extra time educating them and putting their minds at ease before the patient was discharged from the ER.

Ari is always extremely helpful to all the units in the hospital. Her smile is contagious and her great attitude is always appreciated! Ari’s job is so specialized, and she has mastered all things wound care. She goes above and beyond to educate patients and the nursing staff on wound care, and we appreciate her so much for all she does for us!
