A couple of times Autumn called in between appointments just to see how I was doing. I miss her weekly visits.
I had open-heart surgery and was privileged to have Autumn as my in-home care nurse. She did an excellent job. She was very good at her job, professional, yet treated me like she would have someone in her family. She was very thorough, very patient, and a good listener. On her first visit to my home, we discovered the doctor had messed up my medications and she was able to contact the doctor’s office and get everything corrected. I was supposed to return for some follow-up procedures, instead of having to travel to Milwaukee and she was able to help me find doctors in my area to go to, so I didn't have to travel so far away. She would let me know when she planned on returning to the house the next week and call me the morning she was to come to the house to make sure I was still available for the appointment. A couple of times she called in between appointments just to see how I was doing. Not only was she concerned about my health, but she would also always ask how my husband was doing! I miss her weekly visits.

Autumn did a fantastic job in caring for me. She had patience and was very detailed about my health ln all her visits. Autumn is a very caring nurse and deserves all the accolades about her. Autumn asked many important questions about my thoughts on my feelings on my health. I had many nurses through my surgeries and hospitalizations and Autumn is the best. If I had to choose one nurse to care for me, it would be Autumn. In fact, Autumn is so detailed and caring that she asked about the number of times that I passed gas with my colon surgery - very thoughtful! Tell her that I am passing gas regularly and often. Another reason for any awards is that she took such great care of me that at my age 90, I am still working full time, cutting my own grass, and taking care of gardens daily.
***
Autumn is very a very loving and caring nurse. Always coming in singing and laughing. I can always count on her to get back to me and to go over and above to get me anything I need.
***
Autumn was enjoyable to be with, laughed easily, and covered I believe everything that needed to be covered. For instance, she expressed the importance of being aware of the habit-forming drug oxycodone. Also, she helped with teaching the slotted drug holders to make taking meds easier.
Note: This is Autumn’s 2nd DAISY Award!
