Betty goes above and beyond with all of her patients. She listens with her heart and hears the smallest detail that patients could request. She fulfills the patient's needs with such kindness and compassion. Just yesterday I saw her come in on her day off to visit with a patient. Not only did she drop by to visit, but she listened to the patient express her boredom in the days before. She brought this patient a coloring book. This is not the only time she has gone above and beyond. She routinely "values the little things" that make such a positive impact on our patient's experience. Stories such as this are discovered frequently during nurse leader-patient round. I can't thank her enough for the example she sets for our team.
