Brandy was always there for me especially when I was in so much pain. She went beyond just making sure I had medicine to relieve my pain, she took the time to help me relax and talked to me in her comforting voice. She shared with me how I can help myself to relax and that my surgery was a success. Thank you for being there for me. You are special!

When I was a patient for extensive surgery of my left foot, Brandy was my nurse and she was the most compassionate nurse I have met. When I got to my room, following my surgery, she met me there. She put her hand on my hand and said, "we have you and we are going to take good care of you". This may seem like a small thing, but it set the tone for my care from Brandy and I knew she had everything under control.
She took the extra time to provide the little things that made a big difference for me. For instance, when I needed to increase my fluids, she came up with a beverage of cranberry juice mixed with Sierra mist and it was delicious. She even took the time to make me iced coffee, which my favorite. Brandy was my nurse for several days and provided the same compassion each day she cared form. I knew when I saw her, it was going to be a good day.
