Briana always goes above and beyond for our palliative patients. Recently she heard about a three-year-old who had passed in the burn unit and she immediately gathered supplies to make the baby presentable for family members. She took pretty clothes and blankets to cover the child in. She also thought to take molds to do foot impressions. Mom and Dad were also in the burn unit so I know these footprint molds will be a little piece of their baby that they can keep forever. Its nurses like Briana who make such a difficult time a little bit easier for these families. We are beyond grateful to have her on our unit.
