I was alone at the time of my arrival and to say the least, scared. After the doctor came in and examined me, Brianna came in and tried so hard to get the blood and start the IV. I was really dehydrated so she ended up having to poke me several times and I think it hurt her just as much, if not more, as it did me. She then made sure I was comfortable and warm, as I was so cold and shaking.
At some point, my elderly mother and father joined me, and Brianna made sure they were comfortable, helping my mom to the restroom and back, which is certainly not her job. While I was waiting for a room, Brianna made sure I had some dinner before it was too late to order. My fears were put to rest and I knew I was in the right place with the right people at this point.
