Her motivating nature had immaculate timing; Bridgette knew what to say and/or do at the right moment without having to ask.
I owe my son’s earth-side arrival to Bridgette. As forward as that may sound, she truly centered and motivated me in ways I never imagined would be humanly possible. With a pitocin-induced labor and a failed epidural, the excruciating pain left me physically powerless. Pushing out my son while on the brink of exhaustion felt impossible. However, Bridgette was consistently by my side to remind me that if I was able to create my baby, I would be able to birth him. Those words were my driving force, and they continue to echo in my mind to this day. She coached me through every breath and every contraction until his arrival. Her motivating nature had immaculate timing; Bridgette knew what to say and/or do at the right moment without having to ask. I am certain we are one of many patients touched by her devotion and passion for nursing. Nurses like Bridgette are rare gems, and we are very fortunate to have been cared for by her. Bridgette has left an everlasting impression on baby L and me, and we’ll always remember her as a part of our story.
