Words cannot explain how thankful I am for having Brittney as my nurse. I was terrified and so vulnerable when going into my scheduled C-section, yet she knew exactly what I needed without me telling her. She not only made me relax and laugh but she explained to me what was happening with such a tranquil voice that brought me so much peace. She made me feel so secure about what was happening. Although at the beginning I tried to be a little more modest she helped me with being ok with my body and the changes. When walking back to surgery she made me laugh and held my hand. After surgery, she helped me with my daughter and even helped fix my hair and make-up. Although I know going through surgery was going to be tough I still wanted to look good and she did just that and helped me when I was at my lowest. She was so confident that my anxiety faded and I was able to enjoy my delivery. She not only cared for my needs but asked my husband how he felt. She gave us space when we needed it and knew when to comfort us. She did everything to make me feel comfortable. As I cried right before going into surgery and she helped calm me down and held my hand, I will always remember how she did not judge me for my anxiety and fears but helped me clean my tears and blow my nose. I will always be thankful for my nurse Brittney and pray that God blesses her and her family for the big heart she has. My God bless her and her work because it is not easy what she does, yet she makes it seem like it is so easy. Thank you, Brittney, for everything you did for me and all your other patients.
