Carolyn, you ensure each patient on the unit and their family members receive the utmost "care experience moment" during their stay.
Carolyn, this award is to honor you for the many contributions you have given to Sacramento Medical Center and your commitment and passion to many of our ICU patients.
As a Charge Nurse, you exemplify the professional practice of nursing in how you lead. You ensure each patient on the unit and their family members receive the utmost "care experience moment" during their stay. You ensure each nurse is supported, provide education, embrace innovation, and nurture nurses so they in turn can provide the best of nursing care to each of our patients every day.
As an advocate for the Organ and Tissue donation program, you have been instrumental in healing lives to those that have lost their loved ones as you work tirelessly to make certain we have the program in place at our medical center. Through your commitment and passion to this program, we hear countless stories of how each gift of an organ has saved lives and provided a future to so many who otherwise would not have survived their medical ordeal.
Your innovative mind help developed the "Honor Walk" program for our patients and their families as they say their last "good-bye" to their loved ones with true compassion and respect as they leave the unit one last time as they head to the operating room.
Thank you for your compassionate and dedicated care.
