Carrie went above and beyond for a recent ED patient. He was in the ED looking for help with his addiction problems. Instead of just giving the patient a list of resources, she called and arranged for the patient to go straight to a treatment facility from the ED. This took many phone calls and time to get this accomplished. She even arranged transportation for the patient. Carrie wanted to make sure the patient had a plan of care and ensured treatment for him when he left the ED. The time and care Carrie gave this patient with mental problems was exceptional and deserves recognition.
