Casey Springer saved my life. I was having some problems sleeping and drinking excessively. I had a scheduled appointment with my doctor, but it wasn't for ten more days. Casey saw the extent of how much water I was consuming when she saw the number of bottles in my waste basket by the sofa. She called my family physician and got me in to see him the following day, which was a Thursday. When she called me that afternoon after the appointment, my blood sugar was 1053. I was in complete kidney failure as well. If not for her expertise in nursing, realizing I was in dire need of care, I may not have survived this ordeal. I didn't know I was diabetic or experiencing kidney failure. She truly saved my life. I would like to see her recognized for her actions.
