Cassidy knew of a young woman who was pregnant and was planning on giving the baby to adoptive parents. Cassidy had known DeNeil for a while through work and knew her stories about the adoption process and her desire to adopt. I thought about DeNeil but thought the mother probably wouldn't go through with actually giving up the baby so I let it go. Another month went by and it came up again. I thought maybe she really is going to do it. So I prayed that God would give me some guidance on the situation. Another few weeks went by and the mother was still planning on adoption. It was already the end of May so I went ahead and got someone to reach out to DeNeil, making sure she was still interested in adoption. She called me immediately and Cassidy got DeNeil and the mother all set up. They met and in June and soon the mother went into labor. DeNeil was in the delivery room and took the sweet baby home with her.
