She relates to your life, asks questions, and remembers things about the conversations you have with her for the next time you come and visit.
Sitting in the allergy lab waiting room for your 30-minute waiting period after your shots, you see many things. Elderly patients, young children, scared parents, frustrated individuals, patients in a hurry, and more. Some of these people leave in the same state they arrived in, and that is due to the care they received. But not after being treated by Nurse Charlene. Charlene is truly the most caring, compassionate, understanding, and passionate nurse I have ever come in contact with. She always makes every individual feel equal, welcome, taken care of, and like they matter. She goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and cares about you as a person -- not a number or getting you in and out quickly. She treats you like a real person with real feelings and genuinely cares about your life. She relates to your life, asks questions, and remembers things about the conversations you have with her for the next time you come and visit. She is one of those people you are happy to see and know you are in good hands when you are being taken care of in a doctor's office. Charlene is the type of nurse every nurse should be like. She makes sure she is doing her job correctly, thoroughly, and always explains the process exactly, so you know what to expect. She is kind, gentle and happy. In a world that is unpredictable and full of so much rudeness and hate, Charlene truly makes you believe there is hope for the world to change. She is admired by her co-workers, and you can tell they look to her for advice and guidance because she is trustworthy and knowledgeable. Along with all patients leaving with a smile on their faces and feeling a sense of ease from a doctor's office instead of frustration or stress, Charlene is a true DAISY Nurse.
