Charmaine is such a special nurse! Recently, we had an unusually difficult patient who was frustrated with her injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision. This patient was verbally abusive to the staff and had "fired" many of them. It was a very difficult situation. Charmaine took care of this patient with an extra measure of patience and took her therapeutic communication skills to a level never seen before. Absolutely amazing to watch. She made such a connection with this patient and even had the patient using manners by the end of the shift!

What a difference one nurse can make! It was still a difficult recovery but Charmaine made it so much easier not only for the patient but also the following staff. Her use of Bronson's Service Recovery was perfect and she used it flawlessly when she was in the midst of being verbally abused. She shows grace and poise in her nursing and it showed through and through with this particular patient.
