Chelsea is the most compassionate nurse I've ever seen. She would hold my hand as I cried. She always made me feel like her #1 priority. She took care of me like family. She would always check and keep my wounds clean as well as keep me clean. She is literally the only thing that kept me mentally sound after being here for a week.
I was literally facing a life or death situation and the most terrified I've ever been. My family could only make 2 visits and I felt so alone. Chelsea made me feel like I had a friend and family in her. She treated my pain with empathy, my wounds with care, my medication and treatment with caution, and my mental well-being with love. I never felt alone, uncared for, or neglected while Chelsea was on shift.
It wasn't only me, I watched her be like this with staff members, patients, family members, and even answering the phone. Chelsea is a beautiful person inside and out and an amazing nurse. I'll never be able to thank her enough!
