I was put into the Trauma/Surgical Unit and my assigned nurse was Christen. As she was getting me situated for the night and started the Vancomycin IV she had the sense to stick around. She comforted me and asked what else she could do for me. Within minutes I went into anaphylactic shock. She recognized this immediately and knew what to do. She was exemplary in putting into motion the necessary actions which literally saved my life. She is my hero and angel all wrapped up in one! She is a caring, intuitive and wonderful trauma nurse.
