Christine goes above and beyond her job title as a Med/Surg Clinical Coordinator. She takes her job very seriously when it comes to the patients and does everything in her power to make sure that they are comfortable. If they need anything at all, she'll do what she can to help them feel better.

I was admitted on Mother's Day and I was very ill. About a week later, I met this wonderful, caring, loving and warm nurse, Christine Stanko. I had such a hard time while in the hospital and Christine was always poking her head in to check on me. And if I was upset or in a lot of pain, she would check on medications for me or just sit and talk to me to calm me down. She was always loving and caring, and I knew that it was real and that she really did care about me. If I had a chance to pick a daughter, she would be just like Christine with her warmth, and loving and caring heart.

I just want to thank her from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to care. I really believe that her heart is extra big because she always makes time for her patients.

Christine is what the DAISY Award is all about. She cares from the bottom of her heart and THAT is a DAISY Nurse!.
