I commend Chris for all his hard work and dedication to his profession, fellow staff members, and patients. He never hesitates to help and will go out of his way to assist. I have recently asked him if there was a report that would list all patients who had PICC lines. Instead of just giving me a short answer he asked for details to learn what information I am looking for, to see if there was anything he could do. Within one day he created the report with the data I was looking for. This report will aid our unit to effectively and efficiently perform audits on PICC line care and documentation in effort to avoid CLABSI. Thank you!

Chris, on multiple occasions, has helped our unit. We had a difficult time trying to establish venous access on the patient. We had RNs from multiple departments coming to assess to see if they would be able to help but none of them felt comfortable. Chris happened to be on the floor and overheard staff talking about the situation that has been happening on our floor. He then called me telling me what he heard and offered help. He set his planned duties aside to assist us and the patient.
