Hi my name is Rosanne Carrillo. I am the Nurse Case Manager at TDI Wound Care Clinic. I am proud to nominate Criselda Escamilla LVN at TDI WCC. She has been with the system for 4 years. Crissy has been a true Tower of Empowerment for the staff and patients. She demonstrates values of Integrity, Responsibility, Fairness, Respect and Caring. In regards to Integrity, she's honest and professional when taking the role of advocate for pt's wishes. regarding the plan of care. She displays Responsibility and Dependability by keeping on task and reporting to duty daily- ALL pt's and staff receive a special "Crissy greeting" - "Halloo" along with a Smile and bubbly attitude. She's nurturing, diplomatic and open minded when dealing with challenging work related issues and pt's. The Respect and Kindness she demonstrates is infectious. Her persistence in spreading unity was presented during the organizing process of Nurses Week Celebration. The initiative she took to represent TDI and other Satellite clinics received positive feedback from various nurses who attended the gatherings (luncheon, massage therapy, gifts, photo sessions, decoration of communication board, Birthday Cake for Florence Nighengale.) These gatherings created a relaxing, peaceful and warm environment for ALL attendants. Crissy is truly an individual who is committed to provide the community with peace , respect, love and happiness. How fortunate we all are to have her on the UHS TEAM. I believe....Crissy is the epiphany of the motto "Nurses who Care."
