My husband was moved to the ICU for complications from COPD and pneumonia. He remained there until he was moved to an LTACH facility. Although he had some wonderful nurses, respiratory therapists, and many others, Cynthia was by far one of the best nurses I have ever seen. He absolutely loved her and always perked up and smiled when she entered the room.
Cynthia was always informative and told us everything she was going to do. Anything we needed, she was there and showed a true sense of compassion for him. Daily hugs and positive words of encouragement were the norm for her. My husband and I cannot thank her enough for everything. She is a true asset to Charlton and a great example to all the new nurses she is training.
